Drive the famous Sea to Sky Highway beside the waters of Howe Sound to North America’s premier skiers’ playground – Whistler. Pass by sheer, vertical rock faces that bring climbers from around the world and impressive waterfalls. Water, islands, giant snow topped mountains; this drive has it all and offers many excellent photo opportunities.
Whistler Village is a true year round alpine destination and of course was the focus of the world's attention during the 2010 Winter Olympics. A great destination to visit in winter or summer, experience Whistler's energetic village, ride the incredible sightseeing gondolas or a host of adventure activities.
On this tour we have many stories about the Olympics, many interesting tales and achievements from the world's best winter athletes. Not to mention the spectacular scenery, viewpoints and raging waterfalls.
Driving from Vancouver to Whistler and back again is a great day trip and not to be missed. Or drive it one way on your way to, or back from, the interior of British Columbia or the Rocky Mountains.
